American College of Physicians (ACP) - residency search database. Find information on all Internal Medicine Residency programs in the U.S. and Canada. Good place to start your search for a medical residency program.  

ABIM board pass rates of all Internal Medicine Residency programs are given here. The Overall board pass rate for first time exam takers for the Aug 2003 ABIM exam was 92%.

ACLS simulator and tips for Medical professionals. Very useful site for new residents to review ACLS information prior to joining their residency program. EKG illustrations make it easy to learn and retain.    

ACGME website gives details about the 80-hour workweek for Residents, list of Accredited programs and the procedure to complain against Residency programs.

FSMB – Federation of State Medical Boards, gives information and application form for USMLE Step 3 examination. You can also apply for the FCVS verification, when applying for state Licensure. This is also the website to visit to request your ECFMG/USMLE exam history and Transcripts when applying to state medical boards for licensure. Transcripts cost $ 50 for two states.

Online Medical School Directory- This website gives a list of medical schools accessible via the Internet and is indexed by country and state.

UpToDate is an excellent source of clinical material needed for use in daily practice. Used widely by House staff for reference and presentations. This site saves time and energy, especially when you are post-call. Subscription is needed.

PubMed is a service of the National Library of Medicine. It has over 14 million citations on Medical articles. This is a frequently used site by house staff researching for Journal club and presentations. 

Medscape from WebMD gives free medline access, conference schedules, CME, online Journals, textbooks, and discussion boards.

FIND A RESIDENT is a matching service offered by AAMC throughout the year for Residency program directors with open residency spots and Residency applicants who are trying to find a position or transfer from their residency
